Emery Brogan
Emery Brogan of Orosi died March 31 in Visalia. He was 66.
Mr. Brogan worked as an instructor.
An inunrment will be Thursday, April 28, at Smith Mountain Cem- etery in Dinuba.

Salvador Diaz
Salvador Diaz of Di- nuba died April 23 in Hanford. He was 85.
Mr. Brogan worked as a farm laborer.
He is survived by his wife, Lidia Diaz of Dinu- ba; four grandchildren and four great-grand- children.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 5, at Dopkins Di- nuba Funeral Chapel. In- terment will be at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.
Jesse Quintana
Lopez
Jesse Quintana Lopez of Orosi died April 10 in Modesto. He was 77.
Mr. Lopez worked as a machine operator.
He is survived by his wife, Ericka Carmona Gerardo; three sons, three daughters, four brothers, four sisters and one grandchild.
A funeral service was held April 27 at Sterling & Smith Funeral Home in Dinuba. Interment was at Smith Mountain Cem- etery in Dinuba.

  Margie Minor
Margie Minor of Sanger died April 8. She was 73.
Mrs. Minor was a self-employed business owner-operator.
She is survived by one son, one daughter and four grandchildren.
Visitation and a rosa- ry were held April 18 at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home. A mass was held April 19 at St. Mary's New Catholic Church in Sanger.
Maria Bertha
Silva
Maria Bertha Silva of Sanger died April 20. She was 59.
Mrs. Silva worked as a manager.
She is survived by her spouse, Jose Silva Gonzalez of Sanger; one daughter, two brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home, with a funeral mass at 10 a.m. that day at St. Mary's New Cath- olic Church in Sanger. Interment will follow at Sanger Cemetery.
Marcia 'Marcy' Valdovinos
Marcia "Marcy" Val- dovinos of Fresno died April 5. She was 81.
A graveside service was held April 26 at Bel- mont Memorial Park in Fresno.
Wallin's Sanger Fu- neral Home handled the arrangements.

The annual Dinuba Cinco De Mayo Pageant fully returns as a live public event this year. It will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Dinuba High School auditorium. Tickets are available at the door.
The COVID-19 pan- demic led to both the 2020 and 2021 events to be closed to the public; both were recorded and subsequently streamed to the public. Citlali Gar- cia was crowned as 2021 Queen.
This year, seven con- testants will vie for the title of Dinuba Cinco De Mayo Queen for 2022. They are Patricia Guz- man Garcia, Victoria Ann Garza, Estefani Quintero, Denis Gonza- lez Reyes, Christina San- chez, Saffron Sanchez and Yaretzi Corpus Solis.
Here are brief profiles of the remaining candi- dates, in alphabetical or- der as provided by the pageant committee. The first four profiles were published in the April 21 issue of The Times.

Cristina would like to be Cinco de Mayo Queen because it would be a dream come true. Since she was young, she re- members attending the annual Cinco de Mayo festival just to see the contestants perform.
She has always want- ed to follow in their foot- steps. Cristina also hopes to exhibit how proud she is of her culture and would like to encourage others in the community to embrace their culture and show them how pow- erful their voices are. For the talent portion of the competition, Cristina will be singing.
Saffron Sanchez
Saffron Sanchez is the 16 year-old-daughter of Adrian Sanchez and Connie Ruvalcaba. Her honors include being an AVID member for five years, and being the re- cipient of a SkillsUSA

Yaretzi Corpus Solis
Yaretzi Corpus Solis is the 18-year-old daugh- ter of Jorge Corpus and Romelia Solis. Her high school honors include an
Emperor award and let- ter in Color Guard, an aca- demic letter, and a Student Council letter and gavel pin. She has taken several AP courses throughout high school, and is ranked number four in her gradu- ating class.
