New London man arrested for conspiracy to commit murder

completed a month-long investigation regarding a conspiracy to commit murder investigation.
Detectives served a search warrant in the 37700 block of Road 57, in the New London area, where Detectives arrested 20-year-old Anthony Reyna. Investigation revealed him to be a Northern gang member. He was arrested on the above charges and booked into the Adult Pre-Trial Facility.

• Alejandra Viridiana Rios, 37, of Dinuba was booked on July 30 on suspicion of possessing unlawful paraphernalia and possessing a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. She was contacted in the 900 block of East Academy Way in response to a subject who was yelling and causing a disturbance, say police.
According to officers, after a search was conducted she was found to be in possession of a glass pipe and a bindle of methamphetamine. She was also reportedly found to have an active warrant for violating probation. She was booked and transported to the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility for housing.
• Jorge Luis Renteria, 23, of Cutler was arrested on July 30 on suspicion of vandalism, a misdemeanor. He was contacted in the 200 block of Smith Avenue in response to a damaged window at a residence. The subject was reportedly detained at the scene and identified by the reporting party. He was taken into custody, booked, cited and released.
• Michael Ora Jump, 38, a transient was booked on July 30 on suspicion of shoplifting, a misdemeanor, and conspiracy to commit a crime and being in violation of parole, both felonies.
He was contacted in the 700 block of West El Monte Way after reportedly being observed selecting merchandise from a business with a second subject (see following). According to police, the merchandise was taken from the business without an attempt to pay for the items. He was booked and transferred to the Tulare County Jail.
• Manuel Orozco Santillan, 24, of Dinuba was booked on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a crime, a felony, and obstructing a public officer, a misdemeanor.
He was contacted in the
700 block of West El Monte Way after reportedly taking merchandise from a business without paying. According to police, when officers attempted to contact him he fled on foot, attempting to evade officers. He was detained, booked and transported to the Tulare County Jail.
• John Curtis Hulsey, 67, of Dinuba was booked on July 30 on suspicion of shoplifting, a misdemeanor. He was contacted in the 700 block of West El Monte Way after reportedly concealing merchandise and walking out of a business without making an attempt to pay for items. He was cited and released on site.
• Rafael Ortega Jr., 29, of Dinuba was booked on July 31 on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a felony, and possessing unlawful paraphernalia and possessing a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.
He was contacted during a probation search in the 1500 block of Euclid Avenue and reportedly admitted to being in possession of meth and a meth pipe. According to police, a search also revealed a shotgun. He was taken into custody, booked and transported to the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
• Neil Edward Davenport, 41, a transient was booked on August 3 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. According to police, he was contacted in the 200 block of West Mono Street after officers received multiple calls regarding a subject yelling at cars passing by. He was reportedly observed displaying symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Officers say he stated he had smoked meth and said might still be in his system. He was placed under arrest and later transported to the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility.
Two more suspects arrested in Manderson murder

On August 2, 2018, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit arrested two additional suspects
involved in the murder of Nieko Manderson.
Manderson was found murdered on April 2, 2018 in the 4100 Block of Ave 400
in Kingsburg. During the four-month investigation, Detectives found evidence linking Jose Cervantes and Mario
Torres to the
Monday, July 30, 2018 in Sanger, California on an unrelated attempted homicide case and is currently in custody in Fresno County.
Early Thursday morning, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit and SWAT Team executed two search warrants in the City of Parlier, where Torres was taken into custody.
This marks the third arrest related to the murder of Manderson. Miguel Corona was arrested on June 28, 2018 and is currently in custody facing murder charges.
