Natalie Anissa Gonzalez is the 16-year-old daughter of Sandra and Juan Carlos Gonzalez. She is a sophomore at Dinuba High School. Last year Natalie finished up her reign as the 2017 Cinco de Mayo Princess, she states that it was an undeniably life changing experience because she learned more about herself and her community she also states she developed a unique type of love for her culture that is indescribable.
Throughout her past two years of high school, she has accomplished many academic achievements including being an honor roll student, being a member of the California Scholarship Federation, receiving an academic and hosa letter, white chevron, and a caduceus. She was Emperor of the Month both her freshman and sophomore year, she is a MED Pathway student, the recipient of this years HOBY Leadership Award; which is awarded to one sophomore a year who shows attributes of being a servant leader, and her biggest accomplishment of being ranked one in her class out of 563 students.

Natalie’s extra curricular activities include playing school and travel volleyball, track and field, a member and officer of the HOSA club in which she has competed in for the past two years at a state level and has been a 4 time state finalist. She's member of the ACCEPT club and spirit club. She volunteers with the miracle league of Visalia as a buddy to a softball player with special needs, volunteers at her church’s Vacation Bible School, as well as an accumulative amount of 150 hours of community service through the MED pathway and offering tutoring to her peers all while maintaining a grade point average of a 4.83.
On her free time, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, learning about different cultures/traditions, scrapbooking, working out, and traveling. In the future, Natalie plans to attend UC Berkeley and double major in Biochemistry and Communication with a minor in Chicano Latino studies, to eventually become a trauma surgeon. Natalie would like to be Cinco de Mayo Queen to serve the community that has molded her into the person she is today and to represent her culture.

Felicity Morales is an 18-year-old Senior at Dinuba High School. She is the daughter of Joxye and Josue Morales and Monica Coronado. Throughout her high school experience, she has been involved in multiple extra curricular activities such as color guard, volleyball, cross country, and the varsity softball program since her freshman year. She has also had the honor of participating in rallies, the 2018 football homecoming festivities, and the 2018 Softball Valley Championship. Felicity’s hobbies include drawing, baking, spending time with her family, and volunteer at St Catherine of Sienna Church.
After high school, Felicity plans on working towards her Master’s degrees in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, and Construction Management. She has been a part of the Engineering and Construction Management pathway since

her freshman year and has also had the challenge of being the only female in her class the past four years. Felicity has always been in love with this field of work because not only is it a challenge being a female in a male dominant career, but she also believes she can do good for the community and multiple communities surrounding Dinuba.
Once she graduates college, she hopes to design and build more homes for those who do not have their own home and help provide the basic needs of everyday life to help families get back on their feet.
Felicity would like to be Cinco de Mayo Queen because she would then be able to have the opportunity of letting young kids who are struggling know that there is hope and they can overcome any challenges that come their way, as long as they push through and stick to their goals, they can change the world around them for the better, step by step.

Jessica Leal is the daughter of Monica Martinez and Carlos Leal. She is an 18-year-old Senior at Dinuba High School. Her hobbies include baking, exercising, and her favorite... golfing.
Throughout her high school experience, Jessica has been involved in a variety of extra curricular activities. She has participated in basketball her freshman and sophomore year, softball her sophomore and junior year, golf for the past 3 years, and choir for the past 4 years. During her junior year she was captain of the J.V softball team. Jessica Started playing golf her sophomore year, she is now a 3 year varsity player for the Dinuba High School girls golf team. She claimed the number one spot this past season and was also named captain. Jessica is also a 2 time MVP and was recently awarded
with the Ian Poulter award. Jessica grew up at Monson- Sultana School which is part of the reason music has been a big part of her life. She decided to audition in sixth grade for the choir. She was also in the tone chime choir her7th and 8th grade year, which is a type of instrument. In 8th grade, she had the opportunity of auditioning for a National Honor Choir. Hundreds of girls all around the U.S. auditioned and only 345 were chosen and Jessica was one of them. She traveled to Utah and performed with the Mormon
Tabernacle Choir.
After high school, Jessica plans
on attending Reedley College and plans to major in Criminology. Jessica would like to be Cinco de Mayo Queen because she wants to be a role model for girls of all ages and show them that being beautiful isn’t just about looks, it’s about who you are within.
