arrested for armed robbery

Two men and one juvenile male from Cutler have been arrested in connection with armed robbery that took place in Ivanhoe in late January, said the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
On Jan. 30, around 7:22 p.m., Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Family Market in the 32900 Block of Road 159 in Ivanhoe for an armed robbery. When they got there, they were told three masked men walked into the store and robbed it while armed with what appeared to be a sawed-off shotgun. During the robbery, the suspects stole cash from the register and merchandise. No one was hurt and no shots were fired. Detectives from the Property Crimes & Ag Crimes Unit responded and took over the investigation.
On Feb. 12, Detectives were able to identify one of the suspects as 18-year-old Rigoberto Torres Jr. of Cutler. A warrant for his arrest was issued. During a surveillance detail, Detectives were able to catch Torres in the 600 block of S. Lovers Lane in Visalia. He was arrested without incident.
On Mar. 13, Detectives from the Property Crimes Unit and TAGNET went to the 12500 Block
of Avenue 406 in Cutler where they executedaSearchWarrant. During the investigation, they arrested a 14-year-old boy who had been implicated in the crime and was also identified as a suspect in the robbery. He was arrested without incident and booked into Juvenile Hall in Visalia.
On Mar. 15, Detectives finished their investigation with the arrest of the final suspect, who was identified as 20-year-old Librado Luevanos of Cutler. He was arrested at a home in the 2600 block on North Wren Street in Visalia, during a search warrant by the Sheriff’s Department SWAT Team. Luevanos was believed to be the ringleader of this robbery crew. Both adults were booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility. All suspects were charged with Robbery and Conspiracy. The case will be submitted to the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office for review.

in argument days prior when the suspect threw an object at the victim, causing bruising on her arm. On the day of his arrest he allegedly threw cooking oil onto the victim.
He was arrested in the 1100 block of Rose Avenue in Selma and was booked into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Ivan Omar Mendoza, 31, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 17 on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, a felony.
Police say he was contacted in the 700 block of Marshall Avenue in response to a call of domestic violence. When officers arrived they found the victim to have visible injuries to her mouth area.
He was arrested at the scene, booked and later transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility for housing.

• Juvenal Castro Morales, 34, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 11 on suspicion of public intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Police say officers responded to the 400 block of South L Street for a report of a public disturbance. When officers arrived they made contact with him in the front yard of his residence and was arrested for public intoxication. He was booked and transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Jaclyn Deann Oviedo, 36, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 12 on suspicion of battery to a spouse or date, a misdemeanor.
According to police, she was involved in a dispute where her boyfriend when she allegedly pushed him. She was arrested in the 1600 block of Fort Worth Street and later booked at the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Juan Francisco Perez, 23, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 13 on suspicion of being in possession of unlawful paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Officers say he was contacted in the 100 block of Randle Avenue for not haveing a light on his bike. After it was revealed that he was on county probation, officers conducted a pat down. The search reportedly revealed a glass pipe with white substance in his possession.
He was arrested, booked and then released on cite with a promise to appear in court.

police officer and making threats with the intent to terrorize, all felonies. He was also booked on suspicion of being in possesion of unlawful paraphernalia and a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.
According to police, officers responded to the 100 block of East Fresno Street for a report of a subject with a knife. Upon arrival, officers made contact with him and observed him to have a knife in his hand. He was given multiple orders to drop the knife and refused.
At one point, police say he charged at officers with a closed fist and struck an officer. He was subsequently taken into custody at the scene. After an investigation, it was revealed that he also assaulted a victim with the knife.
He was booked and trasnsported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility for housing.
• Jeronimo Jaime Saenz, 20, a transient of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 14 on suspicion of being in possession of unlawful paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Police say officers were flagged down in the 700 block of West El Monte Way by someone stating there was a suspicious subject looking into business there. An officer then made contact with Saenz there and for safety reasons performed a pat down. The search reportedly revealed he was in possession of a meth pipe.
He was placed under arrest and transported to the Dinuba Police Department for booking. He was later cited and released with a promise to appear in court.
29, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 14 on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance for sale, a felony, and obstructing a police officer and trespassing, both misdemeanors.
Police say they responded to the 1300 block of East Bolinger Way for a report of a possible subject who was under the influence and had locked himself in a bathroom. He reportedly had a knife and was refusing to exit the bathroom.
When officers made contact with him he reportedly wasn't making and sense and was refusing to exit. Officers then removed him from the restroom as he reportedly resisted.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Tulare County Pretrail Facility. During booking there, he was found to be in possession of meth for sale and Tulare County Sheriffs added the charges for bringing drugs into the jail facility.
• Emelia Rose Huizar, 26, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 15 on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, a felony.
According to police, she was arrested in the 1300 block of North Crawford Avenue after reportedly being involved in a physical altercation where she allegedly hit the victim with a beer bottle. The victim reportedly suffered a broken nose and a laceration to the face.
She was booked into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Juan Carlos Gomez, 30, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 16 on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, a felony.
