A2 | Thursday, June 27, 2019 News Changes coming to Nebraska Avenue
Rick Curiel | The Sentinel
Road work is currently under way on Nebraska Avenue as a new housing development is adding paving to the road. Crews are expected to be working until tomorrow. The intersection of Nebraska and North Alta avenues is also currently in the design stage of a roundabout. The roundabout, according to city staff, is expected to begin within this coming fiscal year. Future plans also call for North Alta Avenue to be expanded from a two-lane to a four-lane road. City staff say the new roundabout will be designed to accommodate for the expanded road.
