• Dinuba High Emperors Sportsplex.
Baseball and Softball Annual Golf Tournament will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 4 at Ridge Creek Dinuba Golf Club.
Deadline to register is October 27.
Proceeds from the event benefits the softball and baseball program and over the last few years has helped fund college scholarships, payment of uniforms and equipment, field and batting cage upgrades.

• Dinamite Volleyball Club will be holding 2018-19 tryouts on November 3rd at the Dinuba Sportsplex.
The 12 and under along with 14 and under will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. while the 16 and under and 18 and under will be from 10 a.m. to noon.
On November 6, the 16U and 18U will be from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Dinuba

• The City of Dinuba Community Services is always in the need of volunteer coaches for the city’s Youth Sports Programs. Coaching information, clinics and meetings will be offered on rules, drills, and policies necessary to be a successful coach. All coaches and volunteers are required to be fingerprinted and have a background check. Details: 559 591-5940.
• The Visalia Emergency Aid Council’s 14th Annual “Race Against Hunger” will take place on Thursday, November 22 in downtown Visalia.
There will be an adult 5K, children 5K (12 & under) adult 2 mile walk, child 2 mile walk (12 & under) and a kids fun run (1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, or 3/4 mile).
All proceeds benefit the VEAC Food Pantry.

Marcus McMaryion had another big night for the Bulldogs as they routed Hawai’i 50-20 Saturday night at Bulldog Stadium. McMaryion completed 21 of 31 attempts for 284 yards and four touchdowns for the 20th ranked Bulldogs, who improved to 7-1 overall and 4-0 in the Mountain West Conference.
