As the driver was con- tacted, the officer was able to make out a large marijuana plant visible through the rear win- dow. The driver, who was also on felony pro- bation, was arrested for violating his probation by being possession of the marijuana.
• A male subject was ar- rested in the 500 block of Academy Avenue for public intoxication and for outstanding war- rants.
• Officers contacted a male subject who was sleeping in a park in the 600 block of N Street. He was arrested after a record check revealed he had four outstanding warrants for Sanger City Code violations.

• A courtesy report was taken in the 2400 block of Sequoia Avenue for the Fresno Police De- partment in regards to a sex offense that oc- curred approximately two weeks prior in Fres- no.
• Officers contacted a male subject during a bicycle stop in the 700
block of O Street and found him to have sev- eral outstanding misde- meanor warrants. He was also found to be in possession of a con- trolled substance. He was arrested and later transported to Fresno County Jail.
• A female subject was arrested in the area of Academy and Almond avenues after a traffic stop revealed she had an outstanding misde- meanor warrant.
• A traffic stop in the area of Jensen and In- dianola avenues led to a vehicle search after the male driver was found to have an active warrant with search conditions. The search revealed a glass jar filled with 163 grams of marijuana. The driver was cited and re- leased.
• Officers responded to the 2600 block of Jensen Avenue for a report of a male subject causing a disturbance. The male subject was found to be intoxicated and was placed into custody for public intoxication. He was later transported to Fresno County Jail.
Saturday, October 31
There were 133 calls for service and 10 traffic citations were issued.
• Officers responded to
the 500 block of Hawley Avenue for a report of domestic violence. The suspect had left by the time officers arrived but was apprehended a short time later. He was arrested, booked and transported to the Fres- no County Jail.
• An ammonia leak was reported in the area of Jensen and Academy avenues. Due to the di- rection of the wind, sev- eral businesses in the 500 block of Academy Avenue were forced to shut down for about two hours. No injuries were reported.
• Vandalism to a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Faller Avenue. • Officers responded to the area of Church and Faller avenues for a re- port of a physical alter- cation between several subjects. Upon arrival, officers contacted a male subject with vis- ible injuries to his face. The victim reportedly
stated he was attending a party when he was at- tacked by the owner of the residence. Attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful and an investigation is ongo- ing.
• Officers responded to the 1000 block of 9th Street for a report of a disturbance and arrest- ed a male subject for el- der abuse.
• A broken window to a vehicle was reported in the 1100 block of 8th Street.
• Officers responded to the 500 block of Quality Avenue after someone reported seeing two sub- jects attempting to steal his Chevy Tahoe. Upon arrival, the subjects had fled the scene in an un- known type of vehicle but had caused damage to the interior of the Chevy. The case remains under investigation.
• A male subject was placed into custody for public intoxication in
the 800 block of Dewitt Avenue.
• Officers responded to the 2700 block of Jensen Avenue for a report of a vehicle versus a light pole. The driver of the vehicle was contacted and exhibited sings of being impaired. After failing a field sobriety test, the female was ar- rested for DUI and later cited and released to family members.

TCSO detectives seeking help to identify Oct. 23 homicide victim
Dinuba man accused of possessing child porn

Tulare County Sheriff's Office is looking for information to help identify a homicide victim found in the Orosi area on Oct. 23.
The unidentified man's body was discovered in the area of Avenue 408 and Road 144 in Orosi. An autopsy performed on Oct. 27 determined that the man died from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Tulare County Sheriff's deputies have created a computerized sketch of the victim, described as a Hispanic male between 25 and 40 years of age, 5-feet-7, 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Detectives said rthe man was wear- ing blue jeans, a gray polo shirt, black shoes and a baseball-type hat. He is believed to be from the Orosi area.
No arrests have been made or suspects iden- tified in the shooting.

Dinuba police arrested a 28-year-old Dinuba man last week on suspicion of possessing child pornogra- phy after receiving a "cy- ber tip" from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Detectives with the de- partment's Police Investi- gations Unit followed up on the lead and arrested Ricardo Ardon Jose Lopez at his residence after serv- ing a warrant. During the search, detectives located several electronic commu- nicating devices used to access and exchange child pornography.
