Yakaren Estrada

Yakaren Estrada is a 17-year- old senior at Dinuba High School. She is the daughter of Maria and Ubaldo Estrada. Yakaren is involved in many extra curricular activities. She has been involved in both the varsity soccer and tennis teams at Dinuba High School for the past 3 years, the California Scholarship Foundation, Spirit Club, Key Club, Concert Choir, FFA, BIGS Program and Cheer/Soccer coach at Wilson Elementary all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She has earned multiple academic and athletic awards including coach’s award her sophomore and junior year for soccer.
Her hobbies are playing soccer, tennis, reading, horseback riding, and singing. Yakaren’s future goals are to attend Fresno State and study Family Law. She would like to become the next Cinco De Mayo Queen to inspire younger generations to continue to take pride in their culture and give back to their community.
As they have done in years past, hundreds of people (survivors and supporters) will gather on the track at Dinuba High School on Saturday for the Annual Relay For Life. This year's event is entitled 'Give Cancer the Boot'. The event raises money to fight cancer.

Alyiah Rangel is a 17-year- old junior at Dinuba High School. She is the daughter of Alberto Rangel and Misty Pharriss. Alyiah is involved in many extra curricular activities at Dinuba High School such as Colorguard, Drama, Choir, and Varsity Cheer.
Her hobbies include, reading, dancing, singing, acting, painting, and drawing. Alyiah has a passion for the arts because it helps her express her emotions. Her future goals are to attend Reedley College and transfer to UCLA to become a Pediatric Anesthesiologist. Alyiah would like to be the next Cinco De Mayo Queen to represent her community ad culture and show younger generations that they can accomplish anything they strive for.
