A Dinuba man has been arrested in connection with possessing child pornography, said the Dinuba Police Department.
According to the police, The Dinuba Police Department received a ‘cyber-tip’ from the Internet Crimes against Children (ICAC) Task Force, which provided information that child pornography had been accessed within the city of Dinuba.
Police say the Dinuba Police Investigation Units followed up on the leads and gathered evidence through court ordered search warrants. Those
search warrants were served in the 300 block of Grace Lane, where Boyce Isaiah Cervantez, 21, of Dinuba was identified as the subject of interest.
Officers say they were able to locate additional child pornography on electronic communicating devices and during the investigation, he reportedly admitted to viewing and storing the material.
Cervantez was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility. The Dinuba Police Department is currently investigating this case. If anyone has information regarding this incident, please call the Dinuba Police Department at 591- 5911, or to remain anonymous call 591-TIP1.

• Benita Elizabeth Daniel, 33, a transient of Dinuba was booked on Feb. 12 on suspicion of being in possession of unlawful paraphernalia, vandalism and trespassing, all misdemeanors.
According to police, she was contacted in the 1000 block of Eaton Avenue in regards to an attempted theft. Upon investigation, officers discovered her to be the suspect who entered a back yard in the area and attempted to steal two bags of cans. While being detained, a search of her items revealed she had a meth pipe in her backpack.
She was arrested, booked and then later released on cite with a promise to appear in court.
• Boyce Isaiah Cervantez, 21, of Dinuba was booked on Feb. 13 on suspicion of being in possession of child pornography, a felony.
Police say officers served a search warrant in the 300 block of Grace Lane after receiving a ‘cyber-tip’ of child pornography stemming from that location. Cervantez was found to be in possession of child pornography. According to police, he was interviewed and admitted to viewing and storing child pornography.
He was taken into custody and transported and booked into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Brenda Tovar, 29, of Dinuba was booked on Feb. 13 on suspicion of battery to a spouse or date, a misdemeanor.
Officers say she was contacted in the 200 block of Monte Vista Drive in regards to a service
call for domestic violence. Upon investigation, police said the victim stated that she was pushed after an argument over a cell phone.
She was arrested and later booked at the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Diamonique Atondo Tovar, 26, of Dinuba was booked on Feb. 13 on suspicion of batter to a spouse or date, a misdemeanor.
According to police, she was contacted in the 200 block of Monte Vista Drive after officers responded to a call of domestic violence. Police discovered she was involved in a domestic violence incident with her girlfriend. She reportedly hit the victim in the back of the head and was also wanted on an outstanding drug warrant.
She was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Eduardo Hernandez Lozano, 22, of Dinuba was booked on Feb. 13 on suspicion of threats with the intent to terrorize, a felony, and obstructing a police officer, a misdemeanor.
Officers say police were called out the 100 block of North Crawford Avenue for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police say Lozano attempted to walk away on foot and then became hostile by taking an aggressive stance. Police say when an officer pointed a taser at Lozano he threatened he was going to ‘shoot’ the officer. During the confrontation, he reportedly was yelling gang slurs.
He was arrested, booked and
later transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Guillermo Hernandez Lozano, 23, of Dinuba was booked on Feb. 13 on suspicion of obstructing a police officer and disorderly conduct while under the influence, both misdemeanors.
According to police, officers responded to the 100 block of a North Crawford Avenue for a call of a verbal disturbance at a liquor store in the area. Police say that when they arrived on the scene he attempted to walk away after being given verbal commands to stop. Officers say he resisted when police attempted to detain him and he was found to be heavily intoxicated.
He was taken into custody, booked and transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Catalina Villa, 21, of Dinuba was booked on Feb. 13 on suspicion of obstructing a police

officer and disorderly conduct while under the influence, both misdemeanors.
Police say she was involved in verbal argument in the 100 block of North Crawford Avenue and when officers attempted to detain subjects she got in between officers and the suspect. She then reportedly ran behind an officer and began to pull and push him. She was pulled back and then detained and officers say she had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from her. She was also reportedly slurring and disoriented upon contact. She was arrested and booked without further incident.
• Gary Gene Burgoyne, 48, of Kingsburg was booked on Feb. 15 on suspicion of petty theft and providing false identification to a police officer, both misdemeanors.

Michiko passed away February 12, 2019 after suffering a stroke in January. She was born the second child of four to Takeo & Tamaye Suo in 1932. She was pre-deceased by her parents; husband, Yoshinori and brother Mikio Suo. Survived by sister, Jane Suo, brother, Seiji (Ann) Suo, sisters-in-law: Sachiko Niino, Sally Uyemaruko, Harriet Suo, and many nieces and nephews. She and her family were interned during WWII in Jerome, Arkansas and Gila, Arizona. She married Yoshinori Fukushima in 1962 and they lived together on their farm until his passing in 1997. She worked at the Quinn Co. in Selma for over 30 years, making lifelong friends.
Her family wishes to thank the staff of San Joaquin Valley Rehab Hospital, San Joaquin Gardens and Hinds Hospice for their professional support.
Funeral services will be held at the Dinuba Buddhist Church at 655 S. Alta Ave., Dinuba, California on February 26, 2019 at 11 AM. Viewing will be held February 25, 2019 from
4-8 PM at Dopkins Funeral Chapel in Dinuba.
Georgia Lee Manning
March 4, 1931 - February 10, 2019
Georgia Lee Manning returned to her Lord and Savior on February 10, 2019, at her home in Dinuba. Georgia Lee
was born in Formosa, Arkansas on March 4, 1931 to Rosa Smith
Tanner and George Washington Tanner. She was lovingly raised in Arkansas with her 5 sisters,
Helen, Jimmadean, Rose Marie, Margie, and Sherry and 3 brothers, George, David and Rocky.
Georgia met the love of her life, James Truett Manning and they were married in Morrilton,
Arkansas in 1948. She moved with Jim and her young family
to California in 1950 and settled in Cutler. ey worked tirelessly in order to
purchase Seaside Service Station in 1954, where they both worked around the clock. Jim began working at the Dodge Dealership
in Dinuba in the late 1950’s, which lead to the family moving to Dinuba, and Jim and Georgia purchasing the dealership in 1963. ey operated Jim Manning Dodge together and dedicated their lives to building and running the business and raising their family. In 2019, Jim Manning Dodge celebrated 56 years and Georgia was so very proud that her boys, James and Michael, continue to run the family business today.
Georgia deeply loved her husband, her family, her friends, and the Lord.
Georgia and Jim, who passed away in 2015, enjoyed
67 wonderful years together. eir union produced three children, Virginia (Dan), James Jr. (Gail), and Michael (Stacy). She had
6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Rosa and George Tanner, brother David Tanner and sisters Helen Brents Wood and Jimmadean Tanner.
Services were held on February 16, 2019 in Dinuba, with interment at Smith Mountain Cemetery. In lieu of owers, donations can be made to the First Southern Baptist Church,
