• The Dinuba Woman's Club will be hosting their Annual Fundraising event on Feb. 23 from 11-3 at the Dinuba Memorial Hall.
The "Butterfly Brunch and Boutique" tickets are on sale for $25. Ticket price includes access to vendor Boutique, lunch, fashion show and door prize drawings.
Grand Prize drawing tickets will be sold at the event.

• The Dinuba Lions Club will be presenting 'A Night With Dave Stamey' on Saturday, April 27. The event, which will feature a dinner and concert, will begin at 5:30 p.m., with gates opening at 4:30 p.m.
This will be an outdoor venue located at 3510 Cove Avenue in Reedley. The cost for the event is $50 and includes a steak dinner with all the trimmings, music by Dave Stamey, a no host bar and raffle.

• The Dinuba High School Class of 1966 will be celebrating a 70th Birthday Bash on Saturday, May 4 at Richie's Barn in Visalia. The celebration will be themed as a Western venue and attendants are encouraged to come dressed accordingly, or casual.

Seven Dinuba High School students will be competing for the title of 'Mr. Emperor' this Saturday. In addition to claiming the title of 'Mr. Emperor', the winner will also receive a college scholarship.
The contestants who will be competing on Saturday are (left to right) Carlos Sanchez, Joshua Gracia, Jarius Lopez, David Ortiz, Luis Nieblas, Cole Shott and Emiliano Farras (not pictured).
The event will be held at the Dinuba High School Hellbaum Auditorium, beginning at 7 p.m. It will feature a talent portion, evening attire and impromptu question. The theme for this year's event is "The Greatest Showman".
Tickets for the event are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
Great movie heroes to be featured at Sequoia Symphony concert

Batman, Wonder Woman and other super heroes will be on hand when the Sequoia Symphony performs exciting movie themes of super hero films at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 at the Visalia Fox Theatre.
The symphony’s annual film music concert will feature well-known themes from such films as “Superman,” “The Incredibles,” “Batman,” “The Avengers” and many others.
Before the concert, those attending the
Red Carpet reception can have their pictures taken with Spiderman, Captain America and characters from “Star Wars” from 5:30- 6:30 p.m. The reception includes wine, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and drawings. Fresno Lexus will have their latest model on display.
Those portraying the “Star Wars” characters are part of the 501st Legion Star Wars group that creates their own authentic costumes and makes appearances and raises money for a variety of charities. The super
heroes are part of Hero Alliance.
The audience is invited to attend the pre-
concert preview by music director Bruce Kiesling at 6:45 p.m.
Tickets for the Red Carpet reception are $35.

For this reason, Dinuba City Council member Maribel Reynosa moved that the city extend a three-year contract with Kemper Sports to keep them as the managing company at the golf course. The possibility of selling the golf course, however, will remain on the table, as the city staff will continue seeking potential buyers for the golf course.
The $27 million championship golf course
opened in 2008 and serves as the city’s Reclamation Conservation Recreation Project. It was created by world-class golf course designer John Frought.
Ridge Creek features a clubhouse, full service restaurant and a state-of-the art practice facility. In addition to hosting a number of adult and youth tournaments, Ridge Creek offers a variety of individual and group clinics.
