The Blossom Bus tour
By Dick Sheppard
Sanger Herald
Fifty of the nicest, friendliest people from the Valley and northern and southern Califor- nia were hosted last Saturday by the Sanger District Chamber of Commerce's boss Tam- my Wolfe, her sidekick Karen Pearson and a couple of chamber board members, Christine
Erickson and Dawn McCollum - who kept the mimosas coming all day. The group was provided with fun lessons about Valley Ag by Liz Hudson during a tour of blossoming orchards, wineries and a brewery.
They tasted wines at Marechal Vineyards, Kings River and Cedar View wineries, had lunch catered by Sofia's and finally sampled brews and played games at The Dragons
Lair, House of Pendragon Brewery.
Along the way they took selfies among the
bees and blossoms along the Blossom Trail and left the bus unpollinated and unstung, with wonderful things to say about Sanger, the chamber, Valley agriculture and Sanger's gregarious and seemingly ubiquitous mayor Frank Gonzalez.
Here are a few random photos of the fun
and games along the Blossom/Wineries/Brew- ery Trail on the Blossom Bus last Saturday
as a lead up to the fun and games in Sanger during the Blossom Festival this Saturday.
