Perez Flores
Vitalina Perez Flores, a resident of Dinuba, died on Oct. 2. She was 47.
Ms. Perez Flores was a homemaker.
Surviving fam- ily members include a spouse, Juan Jose Hernandez, a son, two daughters, a brother, and four sisters.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, at Sterling & Smith Fu- neral Home in Dinuba. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, at St. Catherine’s Catho- lic Church in Dinuba.
Robert
Gonzalez Jr.
Robert Gonzalez Jr. of Dinuba died Oct. 5. He was 47.
Mr. Gonzalez worked as a caregiver.
He is survived by one daughter and one son.
Visitation services will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, at Dopkins Funeral Chapel in Dinuba.
John Morelos
John Anthony More- los of Sanger died Sept. 27. He was 59.
Mr. Morelos worked as a construction work- er for MG Paving.
He is survived by his wife, Raquel Mo- relos of Sanger, one daughter, two broth- ers, one sister, one son- in-law and one grand- daughter.
Private services were held.

Mary Jane Nickel
Mary Jane (Reiswig) Nickel died Sept. 29 in Clovis. She was 93.
Mrs. Nickel was a longtime resident of rural Dinuba, and worked as a USDA meat inspector.
Graveside services were held Oct. 13 at Reedley Cemetery.
Jose M. Ortiz
Jose M. Ortiz of Di- nuba died on Oct.2. He was 96.
Mr. Ortiz worked as a farmworker.
He is survived by eight sons, two daugh- ters, a sister and many grandchildren.
Visitation will be heldfrom4to8p.m.on Thursday, Oct. 14.
Sterling & Smith Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Lloyd Price
Lloyd Edward Price of Dinuba died Sept. 3. He was 78.
Mr. Price was a groundskeeper for Di- nuba Unified School District for 28 years.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia, six chil- dren, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grand- children.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.
Dopkins Dinuba Fu- neral Chapel handled the arrangements.
Between 150 and 200 people sat and stood along G Street in front of the Reedley Police Department on Oct. 13 as they attended the funeral service for former Reedley Police Chief Forrest "Buddy" Brown Jr. Brown, who led the department from 1979 to 1995, died at his Reed- ley home on Oct. 3. G Street was briefly blocked off to handle the crowd paying tribute to Brown, who spent 23 years with the department.

In an Oct. 8 article on COVID-19 deaths affect- ing a Sanger family, a photo cutline incorrectly identified Jeff Downs. Jeff's wife, Jennifer, and his father-in-law, Bill Weil, died earlier this year from COVID-19.
