Becerra’s mis-

came to light
over three years ago when protestors gathered in front of Calvary Apostolic Church in Dinuba, where he previ-
ously worked as a youth pas- tor. All of the victims, four in total, had direct contact with Becerra through the Dinuba church.
Two of the victims were the daughters of Becerra’s wife’s sister, while another was his wife’s younger sister. A fourth victim was a friend of the family.
According to a press re- lease by Tulare County Dis- trict Attorney, Tim Ward,
crimes against the victims began in 2008 and lasted until 2013. In March 2019, Becerra reportedly attempted to dis- suade the fourth victim from participating in the prosecu- tion.
His convection comes as a relief for the victims and families of those affected.
