Getting out and about...
The library will also be supporting this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, with this year’s theme being:-
Summer Reading Challenge 2023
– Ready, Set, Read!
The challenge will start on Saturday July 8th and will run until the end
of September. Children aged 4-12 years old are challenged to read or listen to 6 books over the summer. These can be physical books or eBooks, Audiobooks or eAudiobooks. They can be library books but they don’t have to be.
Resources will be available in Thrapston Library for the launch and are for children aged 4-12 years old only. They are not suitable for younger children. If children under 4 years old want to be challenged they can take part in the Bookstart Bear Club or this year there will be a challenge, similar to the Summer Reading Challenge specially formulated for Preschool aged children.
Please remember that you can recycle all of your used dental products at Thrapston Library, the proceeds of which will go back to the library. The collecting bin is always outside the main door during opening hours.
