us from holding activities in the High Street. Public safety is always the Town Council’s number one concern so the stage, fairground, marquees and food vendors
all had to be cancelled. Thanks to the hard work of the events team residents were still able to enjoy a range of festive activities.

Thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket, mince pie or mulled wine from the Mayor’s stalls inside the Plaza which raised funds for Cllr Carter’s chosen charity.
The Central England Co-op also supported the event and ran their tombola inside St James Church, raising funds for Dementia UK.
The Festival wouldn’t be possible without the support from local
businesses and volunteers. Dominos Thrapston kindly provided hot fresh pizza to keep the volunteers going. A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising the event and to the public for their understanding
at the change of plans. We are pleased that, despite the weather, you still turned out to support the event.
