As we a new school year we continue to pray for all those whose lives are being turned upside down by the conflict in Ukraine. TBC are currently supporting a children’s ministry over there where Russian attacks have and continue to tear people’s homes and families apart, with many seeking refuge. We also pray for God’s continuing wisdom and provision for the church as we seek to faithfully teach and witness to our community.
During September we will be preaching through the book of James. Join us on Sundays at 10.30am. Previous sermons can be found
as audio recordings on our website: www. thrapstonbaptist.co.uk/recordings. For any more information please email us on leadership.tbc@ gmail.com or call on 01832 734880.

Rome Pilgrimage from St Paul’s Church
Our journey to Rome began in the early morning of July 29th. We flew from Birmingham to Rome and finally arrived at our destination, Casa Per Ferei Presentazione, a convent. We began Saturday morning with Mass at the Convent and then visited the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. The tour was fascinating, if exhausting! After lunch we head to the Colosseum and spent about two hours exploring before returning for night prayer.
Sunday was the peak of the pilgrimage. We went to Mass at St Peter’s Basilica which was presided by Cardinal Mauro Gambetti. The Mass was in Italian so most of our pilgrims found it difficult to follow but that did not
put them off. After Mass we rushed back to St Peter Square for Angelus with Pope Francis.
It was such a blessed time to pray the Angelus with the Pope. On behalf of everyone, I would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of you for generously and kindly sponsoring our pilgrimage to Rome. The pilgrimage was made possible because of your support. May God richly bless you.
It is my prayer that the experience and graces we received on our Rome pilgrimage help us all to grow closer to God in our spiritual Journey.
