It was a pleasure and privilege to welcome Councillor Craig Wheeler and his family into St James Church for the Civic Service at the end of July and we pray for Craig and our Town Council as they serve Thrapston throughout the coming year.
So here we are at the beginning of a new term with lots of exciting things planned. If you’re out and about on your bicycle this summer consider joining in with Ride and Stride on Saturday 10th September. We are embarking on a walk between our three churches on Sunday 11th September, starting in Thrapston and ending
in Denford for a Communion service and picnic lunch. Please keep a check on the website tdichurches.co.uk for up to date information. You’re welcome to join us at the beginning
and the end if you don’t fancy the walking in between!
Praise and Play will resume on Monday 12th September at 9.00am – come and join us if you have under fives who would like to make new friends. JAMES Club and the Youth Group
will also be restarting and we are planning a Harvest Family Barn Dance in the afternoon of October 2nd so book the date now. You will be made very welcome. Please check the website tdichurches.co.uk or email tdichurches@gmail. com for more information.
