Who makes you laugh? My staff, every day
– they are a bunch of nutters and I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them!
Proudest moment? The opening of the cafe, which happened to be the same
day as my son’s 16th birthday too.
Dinner out or at home? Dinner at home with family and friends, with me cooking up a storm!
...and a favourite tipple to go with it? Gin and tonic every time.
You have a day off, what do you
do? My day off? What’s one of those?
Going for a long ride on Berry with my friend Kay, where we set the world to rights.
If money was no object, where would you visit? Thailand – my life long dream.
Dog, cat or iguana – who’s at home? Lots of cats, dogs and you can never have too many horses! Berry, my horse, helps me keep my anxiety at bay, which can be crippling
sometimes, but she keeps me grounded. I ride when I can and it always makes
me feel better!
Any future ambitions? I just
want my cafe to be a success. What brings you joy? My son,
my pony and my cafe .
Something people don’t know about you... I’m my own worst
enemy.
Who inspires you? My son, he inspires
me every day.
