We had such fun at the Harvest Barn Dance at the beginning of October with fabulous music provided by Splitting Hares (aka Jo
and Janis Zakis) which had everyone up and dancing in the church. Over 25 different types of bread were entered into the bread making competition and then eaten!
Plans are now being made for a Christmas Craft Making Event which will take place in St James Church on Saturday November 26th, the day of the Thrapston Christmas Lights Switch On. There will be a variety of Christmas crafts suitable for all ages to make, so come in and spend some time creating something special to take home. Refreshments will also be available all day with light lunches from 11.30pm-2pm.
Following the legal merger of the ecclesiastical parishes of Thrapston and Islip we will be holding a Special Parochial Church Meeting in St James Church on Wednesday 16th November at 7.30pm. This will be to elect new Churchwardens, Deanery Synod Representatives and PCC members.
