This year, National Allotments Week will run from Monday 12th to Sunday 18th August with the theme of biodiversity.
We will be sharing some fabulous content from our expert partners and ambassadors on subjects such as encouraging pollinators on your
allotment, using your allotments to educate the next generation, ecofriendly pest control, companion planting, no dig soil health, going peat-free and much more!
To support allotment sites up and down the country, we will be producing a downloadable

  Originated by The National Allotment Society – for over two decades National Allotments Week has encouraged allotment holders to throw open their gates and show off their sites, to highlight the social, health and environmental benefits of UK allotments.
‘NAW Promotional Toolkit’ with some fantastic materials and guides to help you to promote the great things happening on your allotment site.
Whether you are planning an open day, a fundraising bake sale, community BBQ or just looking to engage the local media – the kit will provide tips, template news releases, posters, social media graphics and printable bunting to help you engage with your local communities and show off your sites!
