MUSEUM
Mr Adam Culling
I
t’s all change at the Royal Army Physical
Training Corps Museum, with a new
home for the Museum and a new Curator
to care for the collection. This years MBS
provides a great opportunity to introduce
myself, Adam Culling, as the new Curator
of your Corps Museum. My predecessor,
Bob Kelly, with the assistance of volunteer
Alf Prince, did a fantastic job relocating
the Museum to the Henslow building. This
has allowed me to hit the ground running
since taking over at the end of October
2012, evaluating what work needs to be
carried out to achieve full Accreditation.
If all goes to plan, the next issue of MBS
will be my opportunity to explain all the
beneits of being an Accredited Museum.
The Museum collection continues to grow.
There have been many new arrivals over
the past 6 months, several of which ill
gaps in the collection while others add
to under represented areas within the Above and below: New museum displays
collection or are simply nice examples to
retain. Donated items have included: a have many of these!).
