Opera to Open Gardens, Scouts to scarecrows and Girlguiding to cooking
Fancy a fun day out for the whole family? Then pop along to Lowick on the 9th and 10th and take part in the Open Gardens and Scarecrow Festival. There are over 25 scarecrows to find on the trail and when you’ve found them all, stay for a slice of homemade cake and cup of tea – sounds perfect to us (page 14).
Eric Franklin takes a look at the St John Ambulance and its hall in The Bullring. Over the years so many people have been involved in the association, proud to wear the uniform and caring for others at public events (page 25).
