MERCHANT NAVY DAY
TS Iron Duke was invited to attend the Hull Independent Merchant Navy Day Commemoration This annual event is usually held on the actual day or the nearest Sunday to the 3 September at the Merchant Navy Memorial sited
on the Minerva Pier in Hull. Unfortunately, the Pier and surrounding area is undergoing flood defence work, so the Association decided to re-locate to the Hull Cenotaph. We were delighted to take part with our Merchant Navy friends.
