The British Cemetery, Polemidia (also known as the Limassol British Cemetery) lies just north of
Limassol on the B8 Limassol to Troodos road. The cemetery is on the right hand side of the B8 about one
kilometre heading north from the roundabout off the main A1 motorway. The entrance is set back off the
road and marked with a large sign saying ‘British Cemetery’, partially obscured by conifers. As the B8 is
a dual carriageway one has to double back to the cemetery via the Sports Centre turnoff. The cemetery’s
location can be visualised through Google Earth via a direct link from The War Graves Photographic
Project website.
