Red Nose Day
Lt Col Becks Macklin
FANCY DRESS IS NORMALLY on the essential
kit list for any career course, so despite the distinctly not normal-ness of ACSC 24, we had
to squeeze the opportunity for some costume in somewhere. Red Nose Day presented the perfect chance... or so it would seem, but the timetable kept changing, the Secretary of State for Defence’s address kept date-hopping, we didn’t know if we would have a Syndicate Room Activity that day to even see each other... and then the IT went down!
Not to be thwarted, ACSC stepped up to the challenge. With each syndicate allocated a different letter, we had: sharks and flamingos; Mario and Mummies; the Karate Kid and James Bond; a split syndicate of underwater divers and unicorns; Mr Incredible, the Invisible Man, even an iPod; jellyfish, jedi, jailbreakers and jesters; Pokemon, penguins, pirates... and, perfect for a year of lockdown, an Amazon parcel!
A huge well done and enormous thank you to everyone who took part on Thursday 18th February: together we raised a massive £900 for Comic Relief.
