   D COMPANY CADETS
SUPPORT MATCH 4
HEROS
On Sunday 23rd April Cadets and Adult Volunteers from D Company provided the Guard of Honour for a charity event involving Veterans, Celebrities and former professional footballers. The charity match was played to raise funds for the Armed Forces Bikers Charity and the Help 4 Homeless Veterans charity. It was hoped that over £10,000 would be raised. Well done to all of D Company who took part in the event.

The County has enjoyed a really busy time since the last Cadet Review publication, with a number of significant changes in the command structure.
Lt Colonel Hugh Gell Deputy Commandant YNW ACF, has been appointed as the new Commandant for YNW ACF, with his subsequent promotion to Colonel, congratulations from all the County.
The RSM Austin Butler has now finished his tenure as the County RSM for which we all thank him. He has been successfully commissioned and we look forward to working with him in his new role as the County BTEC Officer. Welcome to the new RSM Terry Yates the former CSM of E Company. The County looks forward to working with you in your capacity as our Regimental Sergeant Major.
  B Company County Athletics Champions 2023
B Company had a great sports day at the John Charles Stadium in Leeds. They picked up the Trophy for Best Junior Girls, Best Junior Boys and overall County Athletics Champions for 2023. To top it all the Adult volunteers won their relay race!

D Company took first and third place in the recent County First Aid Competition held at Strensall CTC. The County Champions will now represent the County at the Brigade Competition. Good luck from all the County.
