Safety Memo #26 (P-1) Safety Guidance for Construction Sites in Los Angeles County
(COVID-19)

[Safety Guidance for Construction Sites in Los Angeles County] (COVID-19) (P-1)

Please be informed that Los Angeles County has mandated and emphasized:

Per Safety Memo #026 (P), all Los Angeles County work sites must follow the Social Distancing Protocol in
“Appendix A” that are applicable.
A. Make sure to write the name and phone number of the designated contact person for the site on the
last page of Appendix A (example attached).
B. All Signage regarding social distancing and COVID-19 must be posted at every public entrance to your
jobsite.
C. All worksites should have maps posted in places visible to everyone to show where the wash stations
and choke points are (sample sign and maps attached).
o If your worksite has multiple levels, maps must be posted on every floor.
o If you need help with making the maps, please contact the IT department.

All city requirements must be coordinated with your subcontractors and visitors as well to ensure everyone
is practicing social distancing.
