2018-2019 YEARBOOK

Dear Pacific NW Section Members,

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful summer
and soaked up a year’s supply of sunshine!
Now that the drizzling rains have begun, you
can finally look forward to staying dry at our
upcoming section meetings. I am looking
forward to serving a second year as your
PNWS Chair. We have once again achieved
the Gold Level Presidents Award and I hope to
keep that streak going! This year we will
continue our “Building Connections” theme by
meeting at 3:30PM before every section
meeting to have fun socializing at ACME
Billiards and Bowling, located only a few short
miles from our regular meeting venue at the
Old Spaghetti Warehouse in Tukwila WA. That way you have the
option to come early to beat the traffic or come later to the section
meeting which begins at 6:30PM on the 2nd Monday of every month.
We have a fun and exciting year planned that includes the 2019 NDT
of Composites Conference (April 30th – May 2nd), PNWS Golf
Tournament, PNWS Radiation Safety Seminar, and our annual
Student Scholarship Awards Celebration. I am looking forward to
seeing all of you and hearing your ideas about ways in which we can
support our NDT community and any fun event suggestions you
would like us to organize to continue building greater connections.
