various email accounts are set to only receive a certain limit. There are six people with Dropbox and they seem to have received the document okay. Jenny managed to find hers in the Cloud but neither of us have any idea how that happened. Val received hers via her Dropbox account and later I tried sending it to her via Dropbox to her email address (just as an experiment) but I think this confused Val even more!
I am really sorry to say this (I NEVER try to suggest that people are in any way disadvantaged by not having any aspect of the technology) but in this particular case I think the only answer is for everyone to get the free version of Dropbox. There is no charge for anything up to 2 megabytes. The versions can only get even more memory-hungry.
If you do decide to download the free version of Dropbox let me know and I will add your email address to my group on Dropbox. Once I get the hang of Dropbox (!) we should be in business. Please keep the amendments coming – I am quite happy to do a search and replace for spellings, grammatical errors and anything else you suddenly find.
It’s pouring with rain here so I’m going to wash the kitchen floor!

It looks as if it is going to rain here too -- at least I won't have to water the garden!
I do have a dropbox account but it is seldom used and so far only for photos of young members of the family. So please do add my name to your list for Dropbox and I will see if I can get it but I did manage to get the other versions okay.
It could be that the others' mailboxes need emptying! (a bit like mine!)
I am truly amazed by all your hard work - many thanks

Hi Glenda thanks for info. Think I am getting Dropbox ok. Will check. Interesting you wait until it rains to wash the kitchen floor - is the rain still coming through the kitchen ceiling then????? Love Mags

I find that in this 'easing' phase of lockdown I am getting rather restless. Perhaps it is because the brilliant weather has gone away, with quite a lot of rain over the past few days. Good for the garden but not so good for my spirits. There was a certain interesting calm during full lockdown-quietness, little or no traffic. Today there was a long traffic jam all the way through the centre of Wandsworth; at least I could get off my cycle and push it on the pavement past the cars. And building work-likely to go on for months- has started in the property on to which my small garden backs; most of yesterday there was a pneumatic drill running, so even while the weather is more pleasant, sitting outside is not.....
And the opportunity to do so many of the things I like (e.g. theatre, cinema, museums, walks with my Ramblers group) still seems a long way off in the unspecified future. In 'normal 'times, I used to swim at least once a week; hopefully I will not have forgotten how to swim when pools are fully open again. I did see a couple of people swimming in the Thames at Putney-but not very sensible, I think: the Thames is indeed much cleaner these days but not that clean-and there are strong currents. I have had an email from my gym that they hope to reopen some time in July, which is good news. But it sounds as though the conditions will be restrictive and the numbers allowed in at any one time, small. Of course this is sensible but it was already difficult ,before lockdown, to book for many classes. With smaller numbers, I suspect it will be very stressful to try to get a place.....
