coming with a vengeance now and it's lovely to see everything greening up. The problem is weeds and fire ants are also flourishing, so keeping up with that is very hard work. Missing going to our local swimming pool means I am now walking about one and a quarter miles to my mailbox and back most days for exercise, which is a pleasure when it's not too hot.
As a procrastinator there's so much that I can do here, and I'm trying to be disciplined and to achieve something useful and productive each day. It's working pretty well so far, and for relaxation I'm enjoying reading some of the 20 books I took out before our library closed! I don't have TV, by choice, but do have DVDs, and listen to National Public Radio a lot for news. (It's about the only station that is impartial and is not a propaganda tool for our disastrous president!) I am missing my social life, of course, but keep up with friends and family by phone. Thank goodness for WhatsApp! My church makes sure us seniors are helped if we need it, but so far I've been fine.
I do get concerned about my family in the UK, especially as 2 of my sons and 3 of my daughters-in-law are all working in hospitals, as a GP, or in schools. Already 2 of the families have been in 14 day isolation due to suspiciously sick kids, but with no testing done we don't know if they had the virus. No adults got it, thank goodness.
Let's continue to keep in touch over the ensuing months to share our ups and downs, and our failures and triumphs. Right now I AM GOING OUT TO DESTROY THOSE FIRE ANT NESTS!!! Love to y'all. Cary

I realise that Dropbox isn’t going to work for everyone and my attempt to try something else isn’t really working either.
I'm happy to let you have my QEGGS photos on Memory Stick. Don’t worry about this - I do this kind of thing all the time.
• So far Val and Judy have opened Dropbox. If you have access to Dropbox can you let me know?
• I have snail mail addresses for Sandy, Mags, Maggie (Houghton), Jenny, and Valerie Turner
• But not for Cary, Ann, Ruth, Pat and
Maggie Richards. If these people
could send me their snail mail
addresses, I’ll include you. Don’t
worry if you live abroad - we live in unprecedented times and you’re the very people who might like to see the photos!
I’ll wait till I hear from those in the third category so that I only make one trip to the P.O.

What a lovely idea this has been and it has cheered me to read all your news and the varying ways you are coping with the ‘incarceration’, as I think Jenny called it. Like everyone, I was thrilled with Glenda’s virtual tour of the Park - it would be lovely to visit it in person one day- and only wish I could emulate it. I am walking as my daily exercise and luckily we live near
