P. 26

Our garden is looking beautiful and is tidier than it has ever been and cupboards and drawers are looking strangely organised.
I hope none of you feel too lonely or anxious. I see all the family on face time and house party every day which makes separation bearable. I have heard the little ones read and watched them dancing and exercising and they
have been able to play with their cousins at Pictionary etc. What a strange time this is. Take care all of you and stay safe and we will get through this.

Thanks Glenda for the memory stick and photos. It was a bit like being an MI5 agent getting a memory stick through the post - how exciting!
By the way I got an email from Daphne Perry - actually related to something to do with our Primary School but she had been intending to come to the reunion, so I wondered if we should add her to our circulation list. I have cc'd her to this email so you will have her address - she is Isabel Daphne by the way! Please add her on to your next communication.

Thank you so much for the memory stick with so many happy memories of us all at however many reunions can it have been? So good of you to share so many photos. Not many of you yourself, of course! I don’t think we’ve changed a bit – not really, not in spirit, anyway. Just a few wrinkles here and there. Signs of maturity and wisdom, no doubt!
I hope you’re keeping warm and still able to get out and enjoy your very own Glasgow Botanical garden. I’m getting a cricked neck sitting at a computer for too long enjoying the benefits of an online life. And to think I used to do it for a living... Better to stay on the move as long as one can, don’t you think? I’ve always envied you and Val your long walking holidays doing coastal treks and other special walks.
Have just circulated a message to our history society about the Gresham college lectures. I used to attend a few when working in London. They’re all freely available and by some top people. Have already heard two today – one on bell ringing and one on Thomas a Becket in London. Here’s the link. gresham.ac.uk/lectures
Much love to you and looking forward to us all meeting up again before too long.
