STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS.

In this semester, I have to continue with the syllabus that is related with Pedagogy, in
this case is GRAMMAR II. I have already learned some things in the last syllabus that was

GRAMMAR I. However, I have just learned the basic things about how to teach grammar.
I think that there are many things related to grammar that I don’t know and in this syllabus,

I would like to learn them because they are going to help me to teach to my future students.

The first reason why I am taking this subject is that I would like to learn how to use
the grammar and vocabulary of the language to achieve communicative goals, and

knowing how to do this in a socially appropriate way. Another reason is that I would
like to learn how to teach grammar through text because the way that I learned English

grammar was not very useful. Also, I would like to learn how to deal with grammar errors

because I as a future teacher must know how to respond the different errors that my
students could make. Finally, I would like to learn that different type of tasks to test

grammar in the class.

In conclusion, I could say this syllabus is going to be useful because it will show me
what the best strategies are to teach grammar to children, teens, or adults and how to deal

with different cases that I am going to find in the moment that I will teach grammar. Also,
this syllabus is going to help me to gain more knowledge about grammar.
