Grace Defined

4. By the works of Jesus Christ we are predestined to be
God’s sons and daughters (verse 5).
5. In Jesus, and through His shed blood, we are forgiven
our sins and reconciled to God, according to the
riches of His grace (verse 7).
6. God makes known to us the mystery of His will
through the works of Christ (verse 9).
7. In the fullness of time God will gather together all
His saints in heaven and on earth (verse 10).
8. In Christ we have obtained an inheritance in God
(verse 11).
9. As we trust in Christ we become the praise of God
(verse 12).
10. Our trust in Jesus Christ makes us to be sealed with
the Holy Spirit promised (verse 13).

This clarifies some of the benefits we enjoy with God
because of what Jesus did on our behalf.

What Grace Is

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ can be explained in
several ways:

i. Grace is the ability of God made available to man.
This does not make man to become God. It simply makes
divine ability to be expressed through man. It is God’s
power working through human beings because of what
Jesus Christ has accomplished on our behalf. No matter
