Diploma in

Masonry

DURATION: 2 years or 4 semesters

The Diploma in Masonry programme is designed to equip
students to perform entry-Ievel tasks in the construction industry
with specific emphasis on block-laying and concreting.

In addition, students are exposed to related courses such as
Communication Skills, Computer Studies, Technical Drawing and

Work Ethics. It is expected that with this exposure, students are
prepared to enter the construction industry as Masons, Concrete
Workers/Finishers, Tile Setters and Maintenance Technicians.

Participants may be exposed to six weeks of industrial

attachment at the end of the programme.

 Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)

 Computer Studies

 Mathematics for Building Construction
