ow can I sift through memories from
the past 45 years and narrow them
Hdown to a few? I truly can’t.
We’ve shared big life achievements and
simple ones too. But it’s been the simple
ones that have been so rewarding and
memorable: kung fu fi ghting / dancing with
Gemma at the cottage, watching Louise
perform in her stage début, enjoying
espresso, tea, wine, champagne, tapas,
revelling in the colour of an African Lady
lily, AGO exhibits, the theatre, your annual
Christmas Open House, spring bouquets for
my birthday.
All that to say, you fi nd beauty in simple
things. Don’t lose that ability, my friend.
We wish you all the best in the years to
come.
Cheers for 60 years,
Michelle and Dan
I
am honoured to have been friends
for many years. I will not put a
number to it but my memories
span as far back as lunch in the
cafeteria at Holy Cross, to sitting in
your mom’s kitchen sharing an after-
school snack (your mom was the
best), to lounging in my backyard,
drinking champagne, toasting our
60th birthday!
You are a constant in my life,
providing me with unconditional
love, support and guidance.
I am so proud of the woman you have become.
Cheers to the next 60 (it is possible?!)
