AMPCs are obtained by converting the white blood cells
                                                                                                                                                                      of the blood back into a stem cell state. In order to achieve
                                                                                                                                                                      this, the first step is to collect blood intravenously, much like
                                                                                                                                                                      a blood donation. Up to 400mL of blood may be collected for
                                                                                                                                                                      the purpose of AMPC culture, though a minimum of 250mL
                                                                                                                                                                      will suffice if a patient is less physically fit.
                                                                                                                                                                        The amount of blood to be drawn therefore varies among
                                                                                                                                                                      individuals, but typically more blood yields higher stem cell
                                                                                                                                                                      counts. Higher stem cell counts equate to more cells being
