แห่งนี้จะมีตลาดนัด ซึ่งนักท่องเที่ยวสามารถ
ซื้อสินค้าโอทอปของบ้านปากน้ำาท่าทอง มีทั้งอาหาร

ทะเลสดและแห้ง แต่ที่ไม่ควรพลาดก็คือรังนก
นางแอ่น และไอศกรีมกะทิสดสูตรโบราณของ

ลุงดำา รสชาติเข้มข้นหอม หวาน จนโด่งดังไปไกล

Baan Pak Nam Tha Thong located in Kanchanadit district. It is an ancient community and
is associated with the founding of Surat Thani. The villagers are Hainanese Chinese and fishermen.
There are many attractions, including “Pak Nam Tha Thong shrine” which had a sacred god who
preserves the community. “Phra Non Cave” at WatKhaoPhraNim which had the ancient reclining Buddha,
built in the 18th-19th century. The legend said that in the past, a fisherman came to this cave and to pay

homage to the Buddha statue but when touch the statue the feeling of touching different from the
general Buddha statue, so called “PhraNim”. Nearly there are ancient Buddha statue with “Nora crown”
crown of Nora people. “KhaoTha Thong Museum”, inside exhibit antiques, older appliances found in the
community. You can study here about the history of Ban Pak Nam Tha Thong which linked to the founding

of SuratThani.If you comes on Sunday, the museum will have a market. Travelers can buy OTOP products
including fresh and dried seafood, bird nest, fresh coconut milk ice-cream by “Lung Dam”.
