“I sat quietly under her and observed the clouds that were being
whisked by the wind. I sat quietly and felt as if I was being blown
to another world. There were rustling leaves from the ground
and the leaves and branches of the trees rustled and ‘whished’
around. Almost as if they were talking…”
“I have always meant to walk down the road
and see where they are growing, up close…”
“An oak tree...I never liked it. I hated
it! The pondering tree. I started to
notice the life forms within it,
the faces…a weeping cross.
My Mum always loved this tree. She “The tree I see every day …
died when I was doing this project.” But, in 10 years, I have never come
to know it closely.”
