Teacher~researchers shared their deepening relation with the tree but also their own insights into their thinking
processes. “What a surprise I’m becoming creative and expressive, beginning to see Willow’ [my tree]‘ with Monet’s
glasses and use more descriptive language, almost poetic.” The potential for other languages to support and
challenge thinking and consolidate understanding was recognised….’seeing differently’ in many ways, for all of us.
