iii. LEVY COLLECTION
a. Levy will be imposed immediately after an online declaration is made.
1.4 Functions
Under the Act 520 spells out CIDB’s functions as listed below:
i. To promote and stimulate the development, improvement and expansion
of the construction industry;
ii. To promote, stimulate and undertake research into any matter relating to
the construction industry;
iii. To promote, stimulate and assist in the export of service relating to the
construction industry;
iv. To advise and make recommendations to the Federal Government and
the State Governments on matters affecting or connected with the
construction industry;
v. To promote consultancy and advisory services with respect to the
construction industry;
vi. To promote and encourage quality assurance in the construction industry;
vii. To regulate the conformance of standards for construction workmanship
and materials;
