2.1.8 Area 8: Programme Monitoring and Review
The approved training provider (ATP) shall develop and implement the processes, procedures and mechanisms for monitoring and reviewing of curriculum. This includes the structure and workings of programme review committees.
i. Mechanisms for Programme Monitoring and Review
The ATP has to ensure that identified concerns are addressed and data from the feedback from programme review has been used in training programme development. The ATP also has to explain how evaluation activities are being enhanced and refined to cover all important components of the training programmes. The performance and progression of trainees analysed to ascertain that training outcomes have been achieved also have to be justified.
ii. Involvement of Stakeholders
The ATP has to indicate the involvement of stakeholders in monitoring and review of the training programmes. The views of these stakeholders shall be taken into consideration and feedbacks obtained from stakeholders are incorporated in a programme review exercise.
