Short and Long-term Disability Administered by Cigna
Long-term Disability Benefits:
Effective after 90 days of employment.

Effective upon Commuter date of hire.

Administered by Benefit Resource Inc.
By enrolling in the Commuter Benefit Plan, you can pay for qualified workplace mass transit and parking expenses with tax-free contributions. This means that you will not have to pay federal income taxes, Social Security (FICA) taxes, or state income taxes (may vary by state) on these expenses. When you enroll in the
plan, you must
indicate how
much you want
to contribute
to your Mass
Transit and/or Parking account. Your tax-free contribution will be limited to the maximum allowed by the IRS. Any election amount that exceeds the IRS maximum will be deducted
on an after-tax basis. Please contact the Human Resources Department for additional information.
Disability insurance provides income if you become disabled due to an injury or illness. Skyline Windows provides full- time employees with Short and Long-term disability income benefits. In accordance with the law, both the employer and the employee are required to contribute towards their New York State Short-term disability benefit. LTD coverage will be 100% employee paid in 2022. Existing employees looking to enroll in LTD for the first time must submit an evidence of insurability questionnaire and be approved before receiving active coverage. You will not be eligible to receive disability benefits if you are receiving workers compensation benefits.
Employees are eligible to set aside $280 per month pre-tax!
LTD coverage will be 100% employee paid in 2022.
