I’M THROUGH WITH THIS STAGE OF LIFE, I’M OUT

                  acked  by  tradition;  we  face  the  future,  we  celebrate  the  present;  remember  the  past,  changing  times;
unchanging truth, classic way to spend a quarter, exploring the past; navigating into the future and finally from
          B blue prints to footprints.
I have been in this great institution, Grundtvig International Secondary School, Oba and I really have achieved
a lot making it seem like I have been in this great G for six years. Although, I had to
pass through thorns in the path that led me to whom I am today. At first, when I saw
this path, it looked smooth and attractive so I decided to start off my journey to I couldn't give up.
          success. I told myself and
I met my set-mates on the same path, all heading towards success. I also met my set-mates that
other students heading towards success. My set-mates and I kept moving happily
                                                                                     if those who made
until we got closer to the part of the path which had thorns all over. My heart started
                                                                                     it in life had
beating at a faster rate than usual. I looked back and saw how far I had gone and I
knew at that point, I couldn't give up. I told myself and my set-mates that if those who crossed this path,
made it in life had crossed this path, we also can cross it. We decided to keep moving we also can cross
because there was no shortcut to the other side (SUCCESS) As we were moving, the it. We decided to
                                                                                     keep moving
thorns were getting sharper; I thought I wouldn't make it but certain people stood by
me even on the thorns; under the sun and in the rain and made sure we finally came because there was
out of this dangerous part alive . We came individually and decided to form a set. We no shortcut to the
saw and conquered everything as a set. other side
I really want to thank those junior friends that stood by me at the thorny part (SUCCESS).
of the journey, calling them friends in that kind of condition is an understatement. I
would like to call them my brothers and sisters. They made the journey a bit painless
for me. I would like to use this moment to thank Kamsi Ezefuna, Chidera Ezeonu Ebube Ezidinma, George Ezeama,
Ogelle Mmasi, Ogelle Mmeso, Okike Emmanuel, Emeka Valentine, Etele Angel, Buky, EzeFavour, Mmesoma
Obidigbo, Delight, Nene and Chisom Okafor. I love you all for always being there for me.
I would also love to thank all my teachers who guided me on how to pass the thorny part of the path. If not for
them, I don't think I would have gone this far. Thanks my lovely teachers and I promise to make you all proud. Special
thanks to Mrs. Amaka who was really nice and caring to me, Mrs. Mbakwe who really was there to always correct me
whenever I go astray and who also built my spiritual life. Thanks to Mrs. Igwilo, Matron and Mr. Gbenga. I so much
appreciate you. Thanks to Mr. Okolo who made me know that action speaks louder than words; I learnt from him how to
use actions to speak. I learnt from him that to correct someone is not always by punishing, I learnt from him to listen
          more and talk less.
To my wonderful Grundtdvig family, Mark Williams, Somachi, Chidera, Chisom, and Oluoma, I would love to
use this medium to express my gratitude to you. Words cannot express how much I love you .Thanks for taking care of
me as a little sister; now I want to make a promise NEVER to forget you and all that you have done for me, putting smiles
on my face when I was sad, making me strong when I was weak, making me laugh when I was crying and correcting me
when I go wrong. Thanks a lot. I love you all from the very bottom of my heart.
To the 2k19 set, I want to thank you all especially my roomie (Nzube), Ona (In-law), Hillary (my wonderful
          assistant).
Thanks to my lovely parents Mr. and Mrs. Opara Charles for giving me the great opportunity to attend this great
institution. I also want to thank you for providing me with the necessary tools I needed to be who I am today; thanks for
showing me love and care. Dad and mum, I love you both more. May God bless you all and keep you both to reap the
fruits of your labour. I want to make a promise; NEVER to let you down, I promise to make you both proud, I promise
to put an everlasting smile on your faces, to be a good leader to my siblings and lastly to make your sweat dry and glitter.
To my lovely siblings for their pieces of advice that led me throughout my secondary education from the 14th
day of September 2013 to this day. I promise to be a good and loving sister. May God bless you all.
To the Almighty Father in heaven who made this day for me, who led me through the smooth and thorny path,
who guarded and guided me through this journey, thank you LORD.
Shout out to 2k19, I'M OUT.
