showcased.
I want to say a big thank you to all those, teaching and non-teaching staff, who were there for me to
support my every day life and guided me towards success. Although sometimes I was punished and
flogged, it was still worthwhile so I say a big “Thanks”. I also thank my mum, Anthonia and my dad
who were there in my time of need and also supported me financially, morally, spiritually and helped
me to push through even in difficult times. So I want to say “thanks Mum” because if not you, I would
have not been where I am. The same “thanks” goes to you my teachers.
Similarly, I cannot forget some of my friends who made life at GISS fun-filled. Such persons are:
Kamsichidi, Ugwu Banito, Nwankwo Kosi, Onyinye Emeka, Eze Favour and Nweke Emmanuel.
How can I forget my friends in Junior School like Kingsley Nwaelu, Eduzor Bill, Enekweizu
Chinemerem and all my wonderful friends? I am really going to miss you guys.
Going down the GISS memory lane with classmates; like Buski, Susus, Rusto, G Boss, JJ, Nancy,
Tony-kag, KingDEE, Orate, Nasa, Osuala, Zarex, Sando, Willz, Sparta, Oluoma, Akuoma, Divine,
Black boy, Obi, Nnebe, Martins, Obillizg, Nwokoye, Somachi, Hillary, Chinedu, Oko, Udechukwu,
and Uzoamaka makes me feel as if time was mine to manipulate. But then, if wishes were horses,
beggars would ride. Honestly, I'll miss wearing the school uniform with you and going through all the
troubles we went through together.
Finally, I thank God for making my stay in GISS wonderful and worthwhile and I thank you guys very
much for giving me lasting memories. I urge you all to be good ambassadors of the school; putting God
first in all you do and standing on the solid foundation on which we were built together. People say it's a
small world. I hope it would be a small world when it comes to me and my friends. I hope we see again
in life.
