                                                                                  MMESOMA FRANCES

Lodge in to what?...... the future!

t is hard to believe that it's finally over. I used to read write-ups of ex students in
this school. Now, I finally have a chance to write my own and express my
Ifeelings of my six years in GISS. Recalling my first day puts a smile on my
face. Leaving my loved ones for the first time for somewhere I had never been to
and seeing all the big, grown and mature senior girls
who looked very mean and intimidating, were the
very firs two things that really bothered me.
                                                                                     We the 2019 set
                                                                                     shall make it to the
Before I continue, I would like to dedicate this
write-up to God who saw me through all my top because this is
endeavors in GISS. My Odyssey wouldn't have just the first phase
been possible without His guidance and protection. of us stepping into
                                                                                     the world and I
I will never forget those wonderful moments I had in strongly believe
GISS. Those times, I used to have late night studies that this is the
with my fellow students (Blessing, Chidinma and Ijeoma), those times I beginning of our
used to have dance sections with Blessing, those times I used to play with success. We are
my room mate (Jancy), how much I liked looking for her “trouble”, those the 2019 set, the
times I used to disturb #Gamma# boys whenever I was looking for set of the crème-de
something, those times I used to have wonderful chat moments on la-crème.
Monday free periods with my #FA crew# (if you know, you know). I had
other wonderful moments in GISS which I would save for some other
           time.

To my pals; Ijeoma, Blessing, Chidinma, Osuala (Troublesome Closie), Ifeanyi (Daddie), Chidera N.
(Sidie), Nnebe, Ebube (Sissy), Marchie, Ikpekalu, Jones, Illemona, Joy (Oroma), Jennifer (Trouble),
Obimto (Gistie), Nwosu, Uzoh, Vivian (Bestie), Nzube (Roomie), Stanley; (my one and only brother:
What would I have done without you? You were always there to encourage me, I love you my brother) I
love you guys so much and I want to say a big “thank you” most especially to my seatie who was like a
sister, brother, mother, father and everything to me. She meant a lot to me and nobody will ever
understand the bond we shared. Seatie wherever you are, I love you and I will miss you too.

To my parents, Chief and Lolo E.C. Umeozulu who have been a great support to me, I want to use this
medium to say “thank you” . I will always continue to make you proud. To my brothers and sisters, thank
you for your support and your tolerance on my endless disturbances. That's why I am the last baby. All
your efforts towards me would never be in vain.

Now, I am leaving this citadel of learning, Grundtvig International Secondary School, Oba. I can
proudly say anywhere that you members of staff are great especially Mrs. Igwilo, Mr. Nonso, Mrs.

We the 2019 set shall make it to the top because this is just the first phase of us stepping into the world
and I strongly believe that this is the beginning of our success. We are the 2019 set, the set of the crème-
           de la-crème.

gonna miss you so much and always remember …….sweetie pie. GREAT G.
