                                       MY EXPERIENCE AT GRUNDTVIG

here is an adage that says “the journey of a thousand miles starts with a step”. Wow! I can't
believe that I spent two thousand, one hundred and ninety-one days (2,191) in this great
Tinstitution. I thank God for making it possible for me to pass through this great institution. I don't
think I was meant to complete my stay in this school if not for my teachers, siblings and more especially
the moral and financial support of my parents. I entered this school as a
boy of eleven, scared of being left alone in a school without my parents
but with my siblings to stay with. I got a lot of care from my teachers I thank God for
most especially Mrs. Anyanebechi, Mr. Orkia and the Principal. I want making it possible
to say a very big thank you to all of you for the great love and care you for me to pass
offered me. It was indeed a nice time being with you all. through this great
                                                                                     institution. I don't
I knew what it was to be a leader when I was given a post in this school. I think I was meant
am an introvert but this great institution has brought out the real me by to complete my
giving me a post. It was not that easy to lead people but the words of stay in this school
            encouragement and advice from Mr. Olugbenga made me stand upright. i f n o t f o r m y
He always cautioned and shouted at me whenever I fell below teachers, siblings
expectation. Thank you Mr. Olugbenga for your advice. You made me be a n d m o r e
            the leader I am today. Thank you very much. To our successors, being a e s p e c i a l l y t h e
prefect requires hardwork, diligence and obedience. To my younger moral and financial
brother, Kaima, I am leaving, stay put, obey the school rules and support of my
regulations and remember where you come from. I want you to do more parents.
than I have done and don't ever disappoint me.

I feel depressed when I remember that my grandmother, the woman who showered me with
immeasurable love and care, the best grandmother on earth isn't alive to witness this day. You had been
praying dearly for this day to come. The day when I will be an undergraduate. The advice which you
gave me while alive made me strong. Tears of joy dropped from my eyes as I put this down. I know you
will be proud of me wherever you are. I will miss the wearing of day wears and uniforms in this school. I
will miss the early morning bell which wakes us up every morning. Lol, I can't believe that there is
nothing like dining again. At last, the boring classes are over; I will miss the interesting ones. Lol, no
more morning, afternoon or even night preps. This school inculcated in me the spirit of punctuality. I
will miss my friends: Mmesoma, Hilary, Augustus, Legit boss, Nasa, Martins, Chinemerem, Nzube,
Vivian, Skelz, Arab, Turbo, Dammy, Uzo, Tony Clint, Tony-K, Ana-b, EzehChidinma,
NwokaforFamii, Soso, Obimto and my fellow gammarians. Also I will miss my little friendly Kizito,
Benedict, Charles, IfeanyichukwuEbube, Akachukwu, KamsiChidi, NnebeChinenye, OnyiaOnyinye
and UcheharaChidalu. How can I forget my enemies who made my stay lively and fun? You all made
my stay in this school a wonderful one. I can't believe I am leaving you guys.

I want to thank God for his goodness in my life. I want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Osuala
especially my Dad whose constant advice kept me going. May God replenish that pocket which you
used to train me in this great institution. I thank you for putting me in one of the best schools in Nigeria.
Mum, I just don't know how to thank you, I am short of words. I pray that God will bless all your efforts
towards making me a better person. A woman who motivates me when I feel so down. A mother who
cares for her children. Mummy, you are indeed the best mum on earth. You always make your children
happy even if it hurts you. Thank you very much. I want to thank my siblings especially Chiemerie and
Chidera for the love and care they showered on me throughout my stay in this school. I want to thank the
staff of Grundtvig International Secondary School for the work well-done in my life. I wonder what my
life would have been if not for these people.

I want to say a very big thank you to all of you!
