ACTIVITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR 2018/2019

udos! The Award Winning School, East of the Niger has hit another milestone in her
Academic Calendar of 2018-2019 session. This great citadel of learning that has ever been
Kamong the top ten performing schools in WAEC examinations in the country is graduating
another set of future leaders that will rule their generation.

The Vocational Department is unique, ever ready and at high alert always in preparing the students
offering any of the subjects in this department to achieve these leadership skills anywhere they may
find themselves in the future. The Vocational Department is a home away from home in that what are
taught here are life applications from cradle to grave. This department has the following units: Foods
and Nutrition and Home Economics; Agricultural Unit and Visual and Fine Arts in the senior and
junior schools. Music is taught in the junior school only for now. But with time, it will be extended to
the senior schools to help the students harness their latent potentials in that area.

The academic records of the department are unequalled. This is because we have been 'condemned
and sentenced' to success galore year in year out. In 2018 WAEC results, all our students made A's and
B's in Foods and Nutrition, Agricultural Science and Visual Arts. Grade C is a taboo to Vocational
Department and will forever remain a failure that nobody wants to be associated with. This noble feat
is always made possible by our indefatigable colleagues that will never rest on their oars but keep on
fine-tuning these students to always come out in their best. Once again, I say kudos to my noble
colleagues and keep on keeping on until all our students make A's for that is our target and by the grace
of God, we will get there soonest.
