VOCATIONAL DEPARTMENT

Furthermore, it is worthy to be mentioned here that at the beginning of this academic session-2018-
2019, the school came with an idea to engage experts to be paid who will be coming twice during the
weekends to coach/ teach our students how to play any musical instrument of their choice. As the
people saddled with this responsibility were about to embark on this assignment, a new Music teacher
was employed by the school in the person of Mr. Rasheed Kolawole, who is an expert in playing most
of these instruments. We are happy to announce here that the Vocational Department now has two
Music teachers who are experts in playing these instruments. These two Music teachers now engage
those students interested in learning how to play any instrument of their choice during the weekends.
We are glad to say that the fruits of their labour are seriously yielding expected results as can be seen
on every Monday general assembly and every other occasion the school is organizing. A vivid

At this juncture, we the teachers in this great department will like to use this forum to appreciate the
Management of this school for always coming to our aid in terms of procuring necessary facilities to
enhance the teaching and learning of our subjects. We are giving the school a firm promise that we will
always put in our best to see that this great institution takes its rightful place in this nation and beyond.
To whom much is given, much is expected and we believe that our expectations will not be cut short.

As a matter of fact, in the Vocational Department, we assist our students to rediscover themselves and
to develop a sense of real self worth, merit and ability. This is the result of the education we give,
having at the back of our minds the school's motto, “Education for Life.”
