IT'S BEEN A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
Waoh! It's time again to say goodbye to our final year
students of 2013-2019 set. How time flies.
I joined AGGS second term of this session and I must
confess it has been a wonderful experience. The SS3
students that I met on ground were disciplined,
determined and dedicated to the course. The first
examination I met them preparing for was JAMB. The
students read, revised and prepared for the
examination as if their lives depended on it. Morning,
afternoon, night, you will see them with their laptops
preparing for JAMB, no wonder we recorded a high
percentage of good passes in the JAMB examination.
Then came WAE C and NECO. The students put in more
efforts so as to pass with distinctions. I am sure by the
grace of God; their efforts will be crowned with success
at distinction level. Babatunde AKINTOLA

The set of 2018/2019 AGGS SS3 are made up of future
female Presidents of Nigeria, first ladies of states, Governors of the states, Ministers,
Ambassadors, Engineers, Lawyers, Doctors, Accountants, etc that will shape Nigeria in the
nearest future. My advice is that you should keep up the tempo. The sky is the beginning.
I want to advise you to remain focused that as you go out to face the world. You have laid the
foundation for your future career at AGGS. You will be faced with many challenges as you go
into the university; Social life, peer influence, cultism, etc. but I trust that the good work of
AGGS will keep you afloat. Remember your Alma Mata and remember the daughter of whom
you are. Be good ambassadors of AGGS. Education devoid of Godly wisdom is deficient. You
have been trained according to Proverbs 22 verse 6 which says “Train a child in the way he
should go and when he is grown up he will not depart from it”. I would also want to admonish
you on the following. You should:
Ø Know and continue to serve your God.
Ø Continue to appreciate the values of service to humanity and embrace the dignity of
labour.
Ø Recognise the need for service and obedience to Nigeria and the world over.
To our wonderful and ever supporting parents, I say a big congratulation for seeing your
children's success. This is just the beginning for you, in Jesus name.
I am immensely proud to be part of the tradition of success that has been built over the
years at AGGS. And I am equally proud to work with the Principal and other management
team. With you, class of 2018/2019, it's been a wonderful experience. God bless you and
make your way smooth. Bye bye, au revoir, sai anjuma, ke 'emesia, O dabo!
