         THE ROLE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE FACE OF UNEMPLOYMENT

         An entrepreneur is the person who is able to recognise the bigger picture, find
         where there  is opportunity to make someone's life be er, design hypothesis
         around these opportuni es and con nually test his/her  assump ons. It is like
         an  experiment.  Some  experiments  will  work,  many  others  will  fail.  An
         entrepreneur is therefore someone who is able to risk failure at the deepest
         personal  level,  driven  by  an  innate  need  to  create,  build  and  grow,  turn
         possibility into reality. He is somebody who converts a stumbling block to a
         stepping stone.

         There are three types of people: (a) Those who make things happen (b) Those
         who watch things happen and (c) Those who wonder when things happen.
         An  entrepreneur  is  the  person  that  makes  things  happen.  He  bears  an   Stephen EDO
         uninsurable risk, he sets a higher target, he is self-confident and builds it, he is   HOD Commercial
         original and innova ve, result oriented, future oriented and visionary, he has
         the ability to influence others to follow him willingly. An entrepreneur iden fies business opportuni es but he
         selects the best one. He u lises local raw materials and technology.

         AN ENTREPRENEUR'S CREATIVE THINKING: This is rela ng things or idea that were previously unrelated in order to
         discover something new or an art of genera ng solu ons to problems by the force of imagina on and reasoning. It is
         an ac vity of the mind, seeking to find answers to some of the life's challenging ques ons in a dynamic and changing
         world. The challenges of man are not sta c, they take on new forms daily and require a deep analy cal thinking.
         From a thinker's perspec ve, every idea is a product of thinking and every product is a man's word of idea both in the
         thinker's mind. These are people who see problems as opportuni es to do something new or be er. The product of
         thinking is innova on.

         He celebrates discovery of man and not accident, the mind of men engaged in crea ve thinking to deliver the visible
         product we enjoy today. To make this possible, he has to take certain steps in crea ve thinking such as prepara on,
         what effort he is thinking to actualise the dream, allow the problem to remain in your inner conscience that is the
         incuba on period, have an insight or flash of illumina on for you to see clearly and finally assess the problem in
         accordance with the challenging situa on.

         In this regard, everyone should dare to be an entrepreneur in the challenging world of unemployment.
